a.    How important do you think a lesson plan is to a successful lesson?

The lesson plan is very important because help at the teacher to have more command and control in the developed of the class.
The lesson plan indicate that the teacher prepared the class before to go to the classroom, also indicate that he has interest that the student learn.
In the case that the teacher can not to assist to the class, the substitute can developed with the lesson plan helps to instructor to organize time, materials, contents, instructional strategies and assistance in the classroom.

b.    What features do you think a lesson plan should include?

The lesson plan should have all the information of the course and the students as the teacher name, topic, and number of student, also it must have objective of the class.
The lesson plan should include:
  •   Warm up: there are the previous knowledge
  •  Introduction: Introduce the purpose of the lesson by stating and writing the objec-tives for learners and discussing the lesson content and benefits by relating the objective to learners’ own lives. Assess learners’ prior knowledge of the new material by asking questions and writing learners’ res-ponses on a chalkboard or flip chart.
  •   Presentation: Teaches the lesson content  and concepts, introducing materials and information in different modalities as visuals, real etc.
  •   Practice: the teacher can to work in groups or pair for to practice the learning in the class.
  •  Evaluation: the teacher assesses each member´s attainment of the objectives.  The assessment can be oral, write or applied.
  • Application:  provides activities that help learners apply their learning to new situations or contexts beyond the lesson and connect to their own lives

c. Do you think it is a good idea to strictly follow a lesson plan? Why?

Is good follow the lesson plan, but is necessary to leave a margin because the class can unexpected changes.

d. Some people think that lesson plans severely restrict teachers’ creativity. Do you agree? Explain your answer.

No. I think that the lesson plan generates creativity in the teacher, because while he prepare the lesson, he can create different activities and to make a creative and dynamic class.
