	5 minutes	Warm Up/Review	To set class rules and activate vocabulary.	None	Tell students the goal of the class and how they are going to be evaluated at the end. Then, with books closed, ask students in pairs to answer this question: Do you think fast food is bad for you?
	5 minutes	Introduction	To stimulate students’ interest.	Complete FCE Student`s Book and Class Audio	Ask students to listen to a conversation between two teenagers answering the same question and ask them to point out some of the answers given.
	10 minutes	Presentation activities	To create the need of connectors to support opinions.	None	Ask students to point out the words or phrases the speakers used to extend their answers and write them on the board.
	10 minutes	Practice	To use connectors to support my opinions.	Complete FCE Student`s Book	Ask students to see the recording script of the answers given by the speakers, but with gaps where connectors were used and ask them to think of other words/ phrases they could have used to introduce their reasons and examples.
	15 minutes	Evaluation	To express opinions and support them with examples and reasons.	Notebooks	Ask a couple of students randomly to answer the following questions giving reasons to their answers: Did you agree with Miguel`s and Martina`s answers?
